Mural Collage Art Workshop with artist Mimi Leung - 2 - 4 pm

Join renowned Shepparton-based artist Mimi Leung to create a unique collage inspired by Benalla’s iconic Ceramic Mural. Using colourful pieces of paper cut into shapes you can recreate the mural or make something completely different and add patterns and detail using colourful markers. Mimi Leung’s practice includes painting, animation, video, comics and installation. Using the creative process to examine subconscious experiences, Mimi applies a lens of curiosity and playfulness to the world around her, as well as within. Mimi was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Hampshire, UK. She studied at Central St. Martins School of Art and the Royal College of Art, London. Her illustration clients include Disney, Apple and The New York Times. Mimi currently lives in regional Victoria.
